Rowan Pattison is an Australian guitarist whose career has taken him to major stages across Australia, Europe, Asia and the United Kingdom. Equally at home in jazz, contemporary music and musical theatre, he has built a reputation as a versatile performer, educator and bandleader.

A founding member of the Jazzlab Orchestra, Rowan is a regular presence in the Australian jazz scene, performing with projects including the Darryn Farrugia Project and the Elliot Lamb ABC Jazz Commission, while also leading his own ensembles internationally. His work has seen him perform sold-out shows throughout Asia, including launching his album at Blue Note Beijing.

Beyond the jazz world, Rowan has worked with a diverse range of artists including Cody Simpson, Shannen James, Diana Huey, Ruva Ngwenya, Kathleen Halloran, Jaron Jay, Fluer de Mur, Cotta and has supported major international artists such as Rob Thomas, The Brand New Heavies, Lawrence the Band, Ian Moss and many more.

As a sought-after session musician, Rowan has worked on major productions including MJ the Musical, Jesus Christ Superstar, Pretty Woman, 9 to 5, Heathers, Grease, Broadway All Stars and for touring companies such as Entertainers UK, Australian International Opera Company, National Institute of Circus Arts, Sk Entertainment and Royal Caribbean.

Rowan is also an ambassador for Japanese guitar company Saito Guitars, representing their Beyond model through clinics, masterclasses and performances around the world.
