
Rowan Pattison is an Australian guitarist whose career spans major international stages across Australia, Europe, Asia and the UK.
A founding member of the Jazzlab Orchestra, Rowan is also a consistent figure in the Australian jazz scene, a member of the Darryn Farrugia Project, Elliot Lamb ABC jazz commission and leading his own group touring internationally, recently launching his album at Blue Note Beijing.
While rooted in jazz, Rowan’s versatility has led to collaborations across pop, theatre, and major productions. He has worked with artists including Cody Simpson, Shannen James, Diana Huey, Ruva Ngwenya, Kathleen Halloran, Jaron Jay and supported acts such as Rob Thomas, The Brand New Heavies and Lawrence the Band. He has also performed in major productions including Jesus Christ Superstar and is currently appearing in MJ the Musical in Australia.
He is endorsed by Japanese guitar company Saito Guitars as ambassador for their “Beyond” model, presenting clinics and masterclasses internationally.
