Rowan Pattison is an Australian jazz guitarist whose career spans major international stages across Europe and Asia, including performances in London, Tokyo, Paris, and extensive touring throughout China.

A founding member of the Jazzlab Orchestra, Rowan is also a member of the Darryn Farrugia Project, A prominent Austrlain Jazz artist and session drummer.

 

His international work includes the European tour Impressionism of Bill Evans and recent performances in Saigon with saxophonist Danny Healy. In April 2026, he will start an Asia Tour at Blue Note Beijing, kicking off an ionternational run including Europe and the UK.

While rooted in jazz, Rowan’s versatility has led to collaborations across pop, theatre, and contemporary music. He has worked with artists including Cody Simpson and supported acts such as Rob Thomas and The Brand New Heavies. He has also performed in major productions including Jesus Christ Superstar and is currently appearing in MJ the Musical in Australia. Rowan’s recent recording credits include recordings for ABC Jazz, Ruva Ngwenya and various other Australian and international artists.

 

He is endorsed by Japanese guitar company Saito Guitars as ambassador for their “Beyond” model, presenting clinics and masterclasses internationally.
